Ischia Calcio, Giacinto De Siano leads the national U19 team: "Helping this wonderful growth process."

Giacinto De Siano, 59, is the new coach of the Under-19 – National Junior team. After playing for Ischia's youth teams, De Siano soon began his coaching career, leading the Barano Regional Junior team for three consecutive seasons.
In 2019/20, De Siano served as a technical assistant for the Barano first team. The coach, who holds a UEFA B license and a Match Analyst qualification, subsequently joined the Real Forio youth team, leading the Under-16 team (Regional Allievi).
After two years in the Forian youth teams, he landed in Ischia last season, leading the Under-18 Regional teams (winning their group and reaching the playoffs) and the Under-16 Provincial teams (winning their group and reaching the provincial finals, which entitled the yellow-and-blue club to participate in the Under-17 Regional category this season). Since the beginning of this season, Coach De Siano has been working with the First Team coach, Alessio Martino, confirming a synergy with the National Junior team.
GROWTH PROCESS: "I'm happy to be part of this growth process," says Giacinto De Siano. "We're aware that our squad will be made up almost exclusively of players born in 2008 and 2009, nearly two years younger than our age group. We'll continue the successful approach we began last season, giving young players the opportunity to then launch them into the First Team. This is the primary goal of anyone working in the youth sector. I thank President Pino Taglialatela, Owner Lello Carlino, and Youth Sector Manager Gigi Mollo for their trust."
The Ischia National Junior team, which has been drawn into a group with all teams from Campania, will begin training at 7:00 PM today for the start of the championship scheduled for September 14th.
Ischia in Group I Ischia Calcio has been placed in a group made up exclusively of Campania clubs: Afragolese, Puteolana, Gelbison, ISCHIA CALCIO, Nocerina, Paganese, Palmese, Pompei, Real Normanna, Sarnese, Savoia, Scafatese, Sorrento and Acerrana.
